(01) The role

The Utility Inspection Technician (UIT) position inspects and conducts preventative maintenance condition assessments on sanitary sewer facilities and systems including manholes, wastewater collection lines, and other appurtenances. $30+ per hour / depending on experience

(02) What you'll do

01 Conduct SL-RAT acoustic assessments and manhole inspections

02 Capture and quality-check inspection data in the field

03 Set up and monitor I&I and leak detection equipment

04 Perform required labor involved in the removal and replacement of manhole covers.

05 Maintain inspection equipment and calibration

(03) What you bring

NASSCO PACP certification a plus, or willingness to obtain it

Familiarity with construction processes, installation methods, basic utility system means and methods

Detail-oriented with solid data and computer skills

Valid driver's license with a good driving record

Able to work outdoors and around confined spaces
